What you will be doing
This is a field-based advisory role. You will be out in the community — on camps, at events, in one-to-one meetings — providing expert guidance to military personnel and their families on their financial protection needs.
Providing advice and guidance on a range of insurance products and services — including kit, personal accident, life, critical illness and travel — tailored to the specific needs of military personnel.
Presenting financial wellbeing sessions to military personnel on camp — covering MOD benefits, debt management, disciplined savings and long-term financial resilience.
Meeting clients one-to-one to understand their protection needs and advise on the most appropriate solutions — with their interests, not your commission target, driving every recommendation.
Building and maintaining relationships on local military establishments, within affinity groups, and across the wider military community — becoming a genuinely trusted presence.
Attending local events, unit days and community activities to develop Absolute Military’s profile and raise awareness of the support we provide.
Providing signposting and support on debt management and financial wellbeing — connecting clients with the right resources, whether that is an Absolute Military product or an external organisation.
What we are looking for
Customer-focused with a genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional experience for military personnel and their families
Military connection — you have served, come from a military family, or have worked closely with the Forces for a significant period
Positive, problem-solving outlook — able to advise and guide clients to the most appropriate outcome for their needs
Previous sales or advisory experience within the protection or financial services arena (preferred, not essential for the right candidate)
Excellent communicator — professional, organised, and able to work within a regulated framework
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (this is a field-based role requiring travel to appointments and bases)
